This walk marks the start of the 'Senderos con Sal' series organised by Pateando Gran Canaria. The series offers coastal walks in small groups, where the landscape sets the pace. The first walk follows the light-coloured sandy path between Tufia and Ojos de Garza, where the Atlantic Ocean, geology and history are all close at hand.
Along the way, there will be short breaks during which participants can listen to the sounds of the sea, admire the colours of the coast and feel the sand and volcanic rock. No complicated activities are planned. At the end, a cold, homemade lemonade awaits, with a view of the sea.
The price includes a qualified mountain guide, accident insurance and third-party liability insurance. Travel to the starting point is not included. Please bring comfortable, breathable clothing, closed-toe trainers, a hat and sun protection, something to eat, water and a light rucksack. A small towel for your feet is recommended if you'd like to walk barefoot on Ojos de Garza beach.
