Confessions of the Soul: A concert in the ‚Sinfónicos en miniatura‘ series
The concert 'Confesiones del alma', part of the 'Sinfónicos en miniatura' series, brings together three musical worlds: fairy tales, unbridled imagination and introspective poetry. It is aimed at classical music audiences and anyone who enjoys orchestral evenings featuring chamber-music-style ensembles. The performance will feature an ensemble from the Orquesta Sinfónica del Atlántico, conducted by Isabel Costes, at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus.

The evening centres on three works that bring together very different musical visions. The programme features Maurice Ravel's “Ma mère l'Oye”, Ernesto Mateo's Concerto for Toy Piano and Orchestra, and Jean Sibelius's Symphony No. 2.
The performance will be given by an ensemble from the Orquesta Sinfónica del Atlántico, conducted by Isabel Costes. Ernesto Mateo will perform the solo part on the toy piano. The evening is conceived as a musical journey through memories, imagination and emotion, moving from playfulness to contemplation.
The concert will take place in the Sala de Cámara at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The performance will last approximately 70 minutes, including an interval.
