The Cronoescalada Pico de las Nieves has been added as an extra stage to the Gran Canaria Bike Week 2026. It follows one of the island's most famous climbs up to the Pico de las Nieves. There are two routes with different starting points.
The Ingenio route starts at 10:00 in Ingenio and heads towards Cazadores. The Cazadores route starts at 10:30 on the GC-130 and heads towards Caldera de los Marteles.
Those who have booked the Bike Week weekly package do not need to register again for this stage. Anyone wishing to take part in the mountain time trial only can register individually via the event's website. According to the organisers, the stage was made possible thanks to collaboration with the municipality of Ingenio and its mayor, Vanesa Martín, as well as with the traffic authority, the DGT.
