Efecto Pasillo put on a symphonic performance in Las Palmas
To round off the Sonora Festival 2026, the band Efecto Pasillo will perform their best-known songs in a symphonic arrangement for the first time, accompanied by the Orquesta Universitaria Maestro Valle. Nearly 60 musicians will take to the stage at the Plaza de Santa Ana for the occasion. This family concert is the only event at the festival for which an admission fee is charged; the proceeds will go to the Barrios Orquestados project.

The closing concert of the Sonora Festival 2026 will see Efecto Pasillo take to the stage in a new format. The band from Gran Canaria will combine their best-known songs with the sound of the Orquesta Universitaria Maestro Valle. The concert will be conducted by José Brito.
Almost 60 musicians will take to the stage together in the Plaza de Santa Ana for the occasion. The event is billed as a family-friendly programme and stands out at the festival because it is the only concert that does not offer free admission.
The ticket price is based on a solidarity principle: the proceeds will go to the Barrios Orquestados project. The concert begins on Sunday, 18 October, at 19:30 in the Plaza de Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
