The play was written by Joel Joan and Hèctor Claramunt. Xavi Mira is responsible for the adaptation and direction. The cast includes Josep Manel Casany, Cristina García, Xavi Mira and Lara Salvador, alongside Ferran Carvajal.
The story centres on two couples who are friends and who book an unusual evening in an escape room, where they come across a dead body. From then on, the play combines the familiar game concept with mysteries, relationship issues and mounting tension between the four characters.
The production is being staged by Olympia Metropolitana and Albena Teatre. The play has already run for four seasons in Madrid and Barcelona, attracting more than 300,000 audience members there, according to the event information.
At the Teatro Cuyás, "Escape Room" will be performed on three evenings, 20th, 21st and 22nd November, at 19:30 each night. The performance on 22nd November runs from 19:30 to 21:00. Ticket prices start at 12 euros.
