The story centres on four friends who want to spend an entertaining evening in an escape room. But the clues soon begin to point not just to the game, but to their friendship, their relationships and hidden truths. The familiar escape room concept gives way to a blend of comedy and suspense, in which the question lingers as to whether the game is still just a game.
The play was written by Joel Joan and Hèctor Claramunt. Xavi Mira is responsible for the adaptation and direction. The cast includes Josep Manel Casany, Cristina García, Xavi Mira and Lara Salvador. The plot is set in the Valencian neighbourhood of El Cabanyal, where two couples enter the room and, once the door closes, find themselves in a situation that becomes increasingly oppressive.
The production comes to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria after four seasons and more than 300,000 audience members in Madrid and Barcelona. It was produced by Olympia Metropolitana and Albena Teatre. The performance on Saturday, 21 November 2026, begins at 19:30 and runs until 21:00. Tickets are available for between 12 and 23 euros, depending on the seating category.
