Two couples enter an escape room to spend an enjoyable evening together. But with every new clue, the game delves deeper into their friendships, relationships and hidden truths. On stage, the leisure activity transforms into a suspense comedy that raises the question of whether the game is even just a game anymore.
The play was written by Joel Joan and Hèctor Claramunt. The script focuses on pace, suspense and dialogue, as the four characters are forced to make decisions under mounting pressure. In the process, personal secrets and moral dilemmas clash head-on with the very concept of the escape room.
