At Eureka, Mikel Bermejo presents a comedy evening that explores the controversies and absurdities of the present day. The starting point is the questions raised by modern life, caught between social media, self-improvement and the chaos of everyday life. Among other things, the show examines whether influencers, with their single-ingredient recipes and advice on early-morning burpee workouts, are the new Greek philosophers.
The show also tackles everyday situations, such as the question of why, at six o'clock in the morning, there's always someone with a fully charged mobile phone at the ready to film dubious scenes, and whether human stupidity has now reached its peak. Bermejo turns this into a comical quest for answers to these contemporary conundrums.
The performance at the Centro Cultural Guaires in Gáldar lasts 80 minutes and is suitable for all age groups. Admission costs 16 euros. No admission will be permitted once the performance has started.
