The special edition 'Oh Mami!' by Famtàstic Umami brings together several different formats in one evening at the Teatro Cuyás. The programme features a dining experience called 'Umamis de aquí', short films under the title 'Delicatessen AV', as well as live art and DJ sets. The event is described as an evening of visual impressions and flavours from the Canary Islands and other parts of the world.
The title alludes to the concept of 'umami'. This refers to an intense, savoury flavour associated, amongst other things, with foods containing glutamate, such as soya sauce or matured cheese. Here, this idea serves as the thematic basis for an event that brings together cuisine, moving images, art and music.
The event begins on Friday, 16 October 2026, at 18:00 at the Teatro Cuyás on Calle Viera y Clavijo in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Tickets are available via the linked ticket provider.
