Feast of the Virgin of Fátima, with a Mass and a procession

The festival of the Virgen de Fátima marks the religious conclusion of the Fiestas y Feria de San Miguel Arcángel in Valsequillo de Gran Canaria. To mark the conclusion of the 2026 Fiestas y Feria de San Miguel Arcángel, the festival of the Virgen de Fátima takes centre stage in Valsequillo de Gran Canaria. At 11:30, a solemn High Mass will be held in the Iglesia de San Miguel in honour of Nuestra Señora la Virgen de Fátima. The celebration is described as a shared morning of faith and devotion, bringing together residents and the faithful of the parish.

Following the Mass, the procession with the venerated statue will begin at 12:30. The procession will pass through the town centre, along the pedestrianised area and through the surrounding streets. It will be accompanied by worshippers and local residents.

According to a parish announcement, the church will remain open throughout the day. The event marks the religious conclusion to several weeks of celebrations, socialising and traditional activities centred around San Miguel Arcángel.
