The evening forms part of the traditional festival in honour of the Virgen de La Luz. From 23:00, a Verbena Parrandera takes place in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz in La Isleta.

Saturday evening at the Antiguas y Tradicionales Fiestas de La Naval begins on 17 October 2026 at 21:30 at the Mercado del Puerto. From there, the Fiesta Parrandera and the Baile de Papagüevos will wind their way through the streets of Tenerife, Sagasta and Los Gofiones in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
At 23:00, the programme continues with a 'Verbena Parrandera' in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de La Luz in La Isleta. The event forms part of the Fiestas de La Naval in honour of Nuestra Señora La Virgen de La Luz, which run from 2 to 18 October.
The festival is organised by the La Luz de La Naval association in collaboration with the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
