Fred Hersch is coming to Gran Canaria with his programme as part of the Jazz Otoño series. The American pianist and composer is known for his numerous recordings and several Grammy nominations. His style is described as a highly lyrical form of modern jazz piano, in which he combines composition and improvisation with great control over touch, harmony and space.
The concert will take place in the Sala Principal of the Teatro Pérez Galdós in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It begins on Sunday, 11 October 2026, at 19:00. The advertised duration is 75 minutes, with the concert scheduled to end at 20:15.
Fred Hersch himself is listed as the performer. Standard admission applies; terms and conditions and booking details are available on the official event page of the Teatro Pérez Galdós.
