'Grito' marks Hovik Keuchkerian's return to the comedy stage after more than 15 years away from stand-up. At the Teatro Cruce de Culturas in Cruce de Arinaga, he presents a show that takes an uncompromising look at current social issues.
The show explores war, intolerance, extremism, a lack of humanity, an excess of humanity, and the manipulation to which societies are subjected. Keuchkerian combines these themes with his sharp humour and a commanding stage presence. The programme deliberately oscillates between laughter and unease, offering no easy answers.
