«Cartas a Néstor» is a concert in honour of the author and composer Néstor Álamo from the Canary Islands, in which his songs and legacy are revisited through music, stories and letters. Iván Quintana and Besay Pérez will be performing on stage, accompanied by an ensemble from the Las Palmas Symphony Orchestra. This free open-air concert forms part of the programme for the Fiestas del Rosario in Agüimes.
The concert will take place in the Plaza Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Agüimes and forms part of the Fiestas del Rosario 2026. A one-hour open-air performance is planned from 20:30 to 21:30 in the town's central square.
"Cartas a Néstor" combines music with storytelling and letters. The focus is on the work of Néstor Álamo, whose songs are revisited in this tribute. The evening thus pays homage not only to individual compositions but also to his artistic legacy.
The performers are Iván Quintana and Besay Pérez. An ensemble from the Las Palmas Symphony Orchestra will also be taking part. Admission is free.
