Livestock Show at the Rosario Festivities in Agüimes
The livestock show at the Fiestas del Rosario in Agüimes is a traditional gathering of livestock farmers from the municipality and other parts of Gran Canaria. A variety of farm animals are on display, whilst the event also celebrates livestock farming, rural life and local traditions. The event is suitable for families and takes place at CEIP La Viñuela.
The Feria de Ganado forms part of the programme for the Fiestas del Rosario in Agüimes and is a fixed fixture in the festival calendar. It brings together livestock breeders from Agüimes and other parts of Gran Canaria, thereby creating a meeting place centred on livestock farming.
The focus is on the presentation of various livestock specimens. The event also serves as a tribute to the livestock sector, rural life and the island's time-honoured traditions. The programme is tightly organised and runs from 10:00 to 12 noon.
The venue is the CEIP La Viñuela in Agüimes. The livestock show is organised by the Agüimes Festival Committee as part of the Rosario celebrations.
