Lorca by Dámaso: Concert theatre at the Teatro Pérez Galdós
This concert-theatre production, part of the 'Perfiles' series, combines orchestra, drama and dance to create an evening exploring the world of Federico García Lorca. The stage concept is by Pepe Dámaso. Featuring the Orquesta Sinfónica del Atlántico, the actor José Luis de Madariaga and the dancer Vanesa Aibar, the performance lasts 70 minutes without an interval.

At the Teatro Pérez Galdós, the evening takes the audience on a journey through the world of García Lorca. The programme spans the spectrum from his folk roots to the aesthetic transformation seen in "Poeta en Nueva York". The stage concept was developed by the artist Pepe Dámaso.
The Orquesta Sinfónica del Atlántico provides the musical accompaniment, conducted by Isabel Costes. They are joined by the actor José Luis de Madariaga and the bailaora Vanesa Aibar. A bailaora is a flamenco dancer.
The programme features music by Ernesto Mateo and Claude Debussy, as well as the world premiere of "De suelas y asfalto" by Juan Manuel Marrero. The performance lasts 70 minutes and is performed without an interval.
