As part of NOON Canarias, the Vientar Trío will be giving a lunchtime concert at the Faro de Maspalomas. The wind ensemble brings an instrumentation rarely seen in chamber music series to a historic venue, where their sound is particularly striking in open, high-ceilinged spaces. Admission is free, subject to availability.

NOON Canarias is a festival of lunchtime concerts that brings live music to historic venues across the Canary Islands every weekend. On Gran Canaria, the series stops off at the Faro de Maspalomas, where the Vientar Trío will be performing.
The Vientar Trío is a wind ensemble, offering a timbre that is rarely heard in chamber music series. This line-up really comes into its own in open or high-ceilinged spaces, making the Maspalomas Lighthouse a fitting venue.
The concert begins at 12 noon. Admission is free, and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis whilst seats are available. The event is organised by Vector de Ideas. The series is sponsored by Promotur Islas Canarias, with the support of the Department of Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands.
