The production was created by Haatik in collaboration with Jone San Martín and blends movement, music and emotion into a poetic and physical stage space that bridges the past and the present. It takes its starting point from sound materials and references to the Basque cultural landscape of the 1970s. Rather than telling a nostalgic story, the piece translates these echoes into a contemporary form in which dance becomes a space for encounter, transmission and shared reflection.

Aiert Beobide and Iurre Aranburu are responsible for direction and production. The choreography is by Jone San Martín and Haatik. The soundscape is designed by Manu Gaigne. The cast features Aiert Beobide, Amaiur Luluaga, Iñigo Etxeberria, Itzel Vela, Jon Arsuaga, Leire Romero and Libe Sukia. Set design, costumes and lighting are by Ikerne Giménez, Ramón García and Arantza Heredia.

Haatik Dantza Konpainia was founded in 2011 by Aiert Beobide Egaña. The company combines classical dance forms with contemporary expression, whilst explicitly incorporating Basque dance traditions into its work. Its productions have already been staged in Spain, the Canary Islands, France and Portugal.

The performance takes place in the main auditorium of the Teatro Pérez Galdós and lasts 60 minutes. Tickets are available from the theatre.
