The celebration forms part of the programme for the Fiestas del Rosario in Agüimes, which will take place from 18 September to 13 October 2026. During this period, the town will host pilgrimages, concerts, religious celebrations and rural traditions in the old town.
On Sunday 4 October 2026, the solemn Mass will begin at 11:30, presided over by Bishop José Mazuelos Pérez. The music will be provided by A.F. Los Argones.
Afterwards, the prize-winning animals from the livestock market will be presented. Following this, the procession of the Virgen del Rosario, together with Saint Dominic and Saint Vincent Ferrer, will set off. It will be accompanied by the music group and majorettes from La Salle, as well as the Agüimes town band.
Women may take part wearing the Canary Islands mantilla if they wish. To take part, please contact the La Salle Association.
