On its 2026-2027 winter tour, the International Ballet Company will perform Tchaikovsky's “Swan Lake” at the Teatro Municipal Juan Ramón Jiménez in Telde. The company comprises soloists and dancers from countries including England, France, Ukraine, Spain and Italy.
This classical ballet tells the story of Prince Siegfried, who falls in love with Princess Odette. An evil sorcerer has transformed her into a swan woman. The plot follows the couple's love story and their liberation from the curse.
The solo roles are performed by Cristina Terentiev and Alexandru Balan. The performance is divided into two parts: the first part lasts 55 minutes, followed by a 20-minute interval and then a second part lasting 50 minutes.
