As part of the Fiestas del Rosario, a torchlight procession takes place in Agüimes after Mass, passing through the Plaza de Santo Domingo and following the usual route. The event forms part of the religious celebrations in the Old Town's festival programme and is also suitable for families. The torchlight procession with Fervorín forms part of the Fiestas del Rosario, which will be celebrated in Agüimes from 18 September to 13 October 2026. The programme of events includes pilgrimages, concerts, religious ceremonies and rural traditions in the old town.
On Thursday 8 October 2026, Mass will begin at 19:00. It will be led by José María González González, the parish priest of Nuestra Señora del Pino in Arinaga. This will be followed by the torchlight procession with the Fervorín in the Plaza de Santo Domingo and along the usual route.
