The event will take place from 24 to 28 February 2027 at various locations across Gran Canaria. The programme includes the Classic, Advanced, Marathon, Half, Promo, Short, Family Trail, KV El Gigante and Stages categories. The Classic, covering 125 kilometres, has 6,764 metres of elevation gain and a time limit of 30 hours. The Advanced route covers 81 kilometres from Teror to Maspalomas, has 4,314 metres of elevation gain and a time limit of 21 hours. The Marathon, covering 46 kilometres, features 1,784 metres of elevation gain, whilst the Half, covering 23 kilometres, features 1,817 metres of elevation gain. The Promo route is twelve kilometres long and connects the two highest-altitude towns on Gran Canaria.

The KV El Gigante is a mountain run covering 5.5 kilometres with 1,090 metres of elevation gain. It starts in the Agaete Valley and heads towards Tamadaba. The Short race takes place entirely in Teror and covers five kilometres with 264 metres of elevation gain. It is open to all age groups and has separate children's, cadet and youth categories to encourage the next generation of trail runners. The Family Trail also covers five kilometres in Teror and is designed as a shared mountain route for children and their parents.

The Stages classification combines four race days into a series of stages totalling 120 kilometres and 6,886 metres of elevation gain. It begins with the Open Agáldar, a 21-kilometre race through Gáldar, continues with the KV El Gigante, followed by the Promo between Artenara and Tejeda, and concludes with the Advanced race from Teror to Maspalomas through the island's interior. The Open Agáldar winds through landscapes ranging from green highlands and pastures to volcanic contrasts, passing through natural and cultural sites such as El Juncal and the historically and archaeologically significant Amagro Mountain.

Some of the races are also part of international trail running series. The Classic is part of the World Trail Majors, whilst the Marathon is part of The Short Series by Gran Canaria World Trail Majors. Registrations are being taken via the event's official registration page.
