WOMEX, the world music fair, is bringing free open-air concerts to the Plaza del Espigón in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria over three evenings. Three acts from different countries will perform on the stage by the sea each evening. Admission is free, subject to availability, and the evenings run from 21:45 until around 1:30.

The Plaza Stage is the free stage featuring as part of the public concert programme at WOMEX in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is an open-air venue situated in the Plaza del Espigón on the seafront promenade, near the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus. From Thursday to Saturday, three concerts are scheduled there every evening; the WOMEX venues along the promenade are within walking distance.
On Thursday 22 October, A Pedreira from Spain will perform at 21:45, Saad Tiouly from Morocco at 23:15 and Claudio Rabe from Madagascar and Réunion at 0:45. On Friday 23 October, Kasiva Mutua from Kenya will perform at 21:45, Nana Benz Du Togo from Togo at 23:15 and Soba from Burkina Faso, the Congo and France at 0:45.
On Saturday, 24 October, Enkelé from Colombia will perform at 21:45, Saodaj from Réunion at 23:15 and Baile do Mestre Cupijó from Brazil at 0:45. Each performance lasts around 45 minutes, with the programme ending at around 1:30. Admission to the Plaza Stage is free; entry is permitted whilst seats are available.
WOMEX will take place from 21 to 25 October 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In addition to the free Plaza Stage, there will be further festival stages at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus and the Sala Gabriel Rodó.
