At the Caños de Fuego Visitor Centre, there is a practical introduction to astronomy, featuring observations of the Sun, planets, stars and constellations. Members of the Agrupación Astronómica de La Palma guide visitors through the various stations and explain the celestial bodies. The programme is suitable for all age groups and is free of charge until full capacity is reached.

The observation session begins at the Caños de Fuego Visitor Centre in Los Llanos de Aridane on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 18:00 and runs until 23:00. The session will start by focusing on the Sun. As evening falls and night sets in, we will move on to the planets, stars and constellations.
The activity will be led by members of the Agrupación Astronómica de La Palma. The event is designed as a practical introduction to astronomy and is suitable for all age groups. Participation is free of charge, subject to availability.
The GastroBar Caños de Fuego will also be open during the observation session. The venue is the Centro de Visitantes Caños de Fuego on the Carretera El Hoyo Todoque in Las Manchas, Los Llanos de Aridane, La Palma.
