Misa Canaria, procession and fireworks for San Francisco

The closing ceremony of the Fiestas de San Francisco takes place at the Templo de San Francisco in the Plaza de San Francisco in Santa Cruz de La Palma. It begins at 19:00 with the traditional Misa Canaria in honour of the patron saint.
A section of the Coral Municipal of Santa Cruz de La Palma will take part in the service. Afterwards, the image of the patron saint will be carried in a procession through the surrounding streets. The evening will conclude with the customary fireworks display.
The Fiestas de San Francisco in Santa Cruz de La Palma will run from 25 September to 4 October 2026. The main venue is the Plaza de San Francisco and its surroundings. The programme is organised by the Fiesta Committee and the Santa Cruz de La Palma Town Council.
