Canarias UP! featuring Caffest, show cooking and UpMarket
Canarias UP! is stopping off in Arrecife, bringing together a coffee festival, live cooking demonstrations, a market featuring local brands, and video games by Canarian developers. The programme is aimed at anyone interested in gastronomy, trade and creative projects from the Canary Islands. Entry to the Casa de la Juventud is free and no ticket is required.

The Canarias UP! venue in Arrecife comprises four programme areas. Caffest is the Canary Islands' coffee festival, featuring brunch culture, barista shows, DJs and music. Under the title 'Somos lo que Comemos', young Canarian chefs will be demonstrating dishes with volcanic flavours and wines from La Geria during live cooking demonstrations.
There is also TecnoUp!, where video games developed in the Canary Islands and other projects are showcased, as well as UpMarket!, a market featuring products and brands from local businesses. The event takes place on Friday 30 October from 16:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday 31 October 2026 from 10:00 to 20:00 at the Casa de la Juventud de Arrecife, Calle Doctor Juan Negrín 118.
Canarias UP! is a project run by the Government of the Canary Islands and will tour all seven islands between October and December 2026. The aim is to bring trade, business and innovation closer to the public. The Arrecife leg of the tour also includes the Canarias UP Hackathon and the Tardeo Meet Connection networking event, for which registration is required.
