'El camino de la lengua' is part of Palabras al Vuelo, the 14th International Festival of Oral Narrative on Lanzarote. For the festival, Pepito Mateo brings a series of stories to the stage that draw on the playfulness and absurdity of life.
The stories are about people seeking happiness, dreaming with their eyes wide open amidst reality, or fighting for their freedom. They feature characters such as someone who is never satisfied, and someone who devises a way of not lying without telling the truth.
The performance lasts 85 minutes and takes place in the Sala Buñuel at the CIC El Almacén in Arrecife. Admission is free, but attendance requires prior booking. Seating is limited.
