The Murallas del Infierno open-water swim takes place off the steep cliffs of Los Gigantes and covers two distances through the sea. Participants can choose between a 1.5-kilometre circuit in Los Guíos Bay and a 6.5-kilometre long-distance route from Masca to Los Guíos. There are a maximum of 200 places available for each route, and online registration is open until 28 October.

The tenth edition kicks off on Saturday 31 October at 9:30 on Playa de Los Guíos beach in Los Gigantes, at the foot of the cliffs. Both races finish there, including the longer route, which starts at Masca beach and runs 6.5 kilometres to Los Guíos.
In addition to this long-distance race, there is a 1.5-kilometre circuit in Los Guíos Bay. A maximum of 200 participants is allowed for each of the two distances. Online registration is open until 28 October.
The entry fee is 30 euros for the 6.5-kilometre race and 20 euros for the 1.5-kilometre race. Residents of Mount Teide receive a 50 per cent discount. To take part in the 6.5-kilometre race, participants must provide proof of having completed at least one open-water race of 2,000 metres in 2024 or 2025. Los Guíos beach, where both races finish, is a great spot for spectators.
