The story centres on the Penguin family at the South Pole. Mum looks after the house in the mornings and goes fishing in the afternoons, whilst Dad fishes in the mornings and takes over the housework later on. Little Bobo loves nothing more than eating and playing, until his parents tell him that he's going to have a little brother or sister soon, and so a new adventure begins.
