Compañía Criolla's production returns to La Salita for the second season running. The story centres on an actor, played by Roberto Peloni, who finds himself increasingly unable to trust his own reality and eventually even comes to mistrust the person who writes the events of his life. The play explores the question of what role people play in their own stories.
Emiliano Dionisi is responsible for the script and direction of “El brote”, whilst Roberto Peloni stars in the production. The set and costumes are by Micaela Sleigh, the lighting design by Agnese Lozupon and the sound design by Martin Rodríguez. The artistic and organisational team also includes Juan José Barocelli as assistant director and Sebastián Ezcurra for artistic production, overall production, and press and communications.
There will be three performances at La Salita in the Auditorio de Tenerife: on Friday and Saturday at 19:30, and on Sunday at 12 noon. A discussion with the audience will take place after the first performance on Friday. The play lasts approximately 90 minutes.
The performance is recommended for those aged 16 and over; admission is permitted from the age of five. The performance features strobe-like lighting effects and stage smoke. Due to the light effects, a warning is in place for people who are sensitive to light. The doors to La Salita open between 15:00 and five minutes before the start of the performance. Once the auditorium doors have closed, no further admission will be permitted.
