Carminho presents her own interpretation of fado at the Auditorio de Tenerife. Her concerts combine the emotional depth and vocal tradition of the genre with a contemporary artistic style. She will also be performing tracks from her seventh album, 'Eu vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir'. It comprises eleven tracks, including eight of her own compositions, and bridges the gap between experimental music and the emotionally charged heart of fado.
On stage, Carminho is accompanied by several musicians: André Dias on the Portuguese guitar, Flávio Cardoso on the classical guitar, Pedro Geraldes on electric guitar and lap steel, Tiago Maia on double bass, João Gomes on Mellotron, Ondes Martenot and Crystal Bachet, and Marco Esteves on percussion. Marco Esteves is in charge of sound, and Hugo Coelho of lighting.
The concert will take place in the Sala Sinfónica and will last approximately 80 minutes. Admission costs 15 euros. Only visitors aged five and over are permitted in the hall. Once the doors close at the start of the event, no further admission will be permitted.
