The event forms part of the programme of festivities in honour of San Antonio María Claret in the San Antonio neighbourhood of La Orotava. The programme kicks off with water castles and a big foam party for children.
This will be followed by a neighbourhood get-together organised in collaboration with Comidas La Unión. There will also be an open dessert competition. Anyone wishing to take part should register on the day and bring their dessert with them.
According to the programme, priority for the meal will be given to those who have purchased the fiesta ticket, known as the 'cartón'.
