Children’s Festival and Dance Evening in La Perdoma
On this evening of the Fiestas de La Perdoma, the children from the neighbourhood will first be performing at the Colegio Infanta Elena. Afterwards, the festivities will move to the Plaza de La Perdoma, where Grupo Saoco will provide the music for an evening of dancing. The children's festival begins on 9 October 2026 at 20:00 at the Colegio Infanta Elena in La Perdoma. Children from the neighbourhood will be performing on stage. This part of the programme is organised by Conchy Méndez.
Afterwards, the celebrations will move to the Plaza de La Perdoma. There will be a big dance evening featuring Grupo Saoco. The programme does not specify a separate start time for the second part; it will follow on directly from the end of the children's festival.
The evening forms part of the 2026 Fiestas de La Perdoma in La Orotava. The festival is held in honour of the patron saints, Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario and San Jerónimo, and, according to the programme, has a tradition stretching back more than 70 years. The festival programme is organised by the La Perdoma Festival Committee with the support of La Orotava Town Council.
