On Saturday 3 October, the programme kicks off at 11:00 with several events taking place simultaneously in Santa Cruz. The programme includes the 'Elemento Fuego' Macroludoteca in the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena, children's activities of the same name in Parque Bulevar, an area featuring children's activities and workshops at the Le Good Market in Parque García Sanabria, as well as further children's workshops under the title 'Elemento Tierra'. In addition, there will be the Bohomera workshop on decorating fruit and vegetables made of wood in Parque García Sanabria, "Elemento Aire" children's workshops on the Rambla de Santa Cruz, and a toy library in Plaza del Príncipe and Calle Valentín Sanz. From 11:30, a family piñata-making workshop will take place at MUNA, whilst an animated kite exhibition will begin at the same time in Plaza del Cabildo. At 12 noon, large wooden games will begin in Parque García Sanabria.
On Sunday 4 October, the family programme will once again take place from 11:00 at various locations. Once again on the programme are the 'Elemento Fuego' Macroludoteca, children's activities in Parque Bulevar, the range of workshops at Le Good Market, the Bohomera workshop and the play centre in Plaza del Príncipe and Calle Valentín Sanz. At MUNA, the programme this time features a face-painting workshop for the Catrina look. In Parque García Sanabria, there is also the "Cultiva tu paisaje" workshop on urban gardening, whilst at Le Good Market, "Elemento Tierra" is complemented by a gastronomic tour.
The Sunday's programme is rounded off by a traditional Canary Islands market in the Plaza de la Candelaria and the Plaza de España, as well as the Santa Cruz arts and crafts market in the Plaza del Cabildo. The lively kite show will begin there again at 11:30. From 12 noon, the large wooden games will once again be on offer in Parque García Sanabria. The activities are thus spread across central squares, parks and the museum, and can be combined into a family walking tour through the city centre.
