CLE Composers‘ Meet-up with Jenny Peña and Candelaria Dorta

The event is the first of two panel discussions at this year's Women Composers' Meeting, held as part of the Classical Laguna Experience festival, or CLE for short. It is being hosted by the Biblioteca Municipal Adrián Alemán de Armas on Calle Juan de Vera in La Laguna.
The guests are Jenny Peña and Candelaria Dorta. Peña has written the commissioned work for the festival's closing concert, whilst Dorta will be introduced as a composer from the Canary Islands. The discussion will be moderated by María del Ser from Radio Clásica.
The Women Composers' Meetings are designed as a forum for dialogue between female composers, performers and the audience. They form part of the programme for the seventh edition of the CLE Festival, which takes place from 22 September to 4 October 2026 on La Gomera, Gran Canaria and Tenerife and is dedicated to classical music from the Canary Islands and Latin America. This year's guest country is Cuba.
