The workshop is part of the 20th edition of the Festival Internacional Clownbaret and will take place from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Espacio La Granja in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. On all three days, the workshop will run from 17:00 to 21:00.
In 'Make Them Laugh', Peter Shub shares the tools and techniques that have shaped his career. These include stage presence, rhythm, comic timing, improvisation, the development of gags, and connecting with the audience through authenticity and play. The course is described as an intensive introduction to the art of clowning with an internationally renowned exponent of physical comedy and visual humour.
The course is aimed at people from the performing arts as well as anyone who would like to learn the language of the clown. No prior experience is necessary.
