Raúl Pérez performs a stage show centred on impressions and transformations. He is known for his appearances on programmes such as “Ilustres Ignorantes”, “Late Motiv”, “El Intermedio” and “Tu cara me suena”. On stage, he combines voices, gestures and characterisation to portray a range of well-known figures from the worlds of politics, journalism, the arts and sport.
Born in Madrid in 1976, the artist works as a voice-over artist and comedian and describes himself primarily as a caricaturist. His style thrives on precisely capturing a person's idiosyncrasies and transforming them into a stage character. The focus is therefore less on a traditional stand-up routine and more on an evening of character changes and instantly recognisable impersonations.
Key milestones in his career include ten years on the radio programme ¡Anda Ya!, appearances on “Las Noticias del Guiñol” and in shows hosted by José Mota, as well as his work with Andreu Buenafuente on “Late Motiv”. He later reached the final of “Tu Cara Me Suena 6”. He currently continues to perform impressions on “Ilustres Ignorantes” and “El Intermedio”, and also works for Cadena SER.
The show begins at 20:30 at the Teatro Leal in La Laguna. Tickets are available from 15 euros.
