091 from Granada present 'Espejismo nº 9', a new album that continues the band's musical signature. The ten tracks range from rock to pop and blues, drawing on influences from the great musical traditions of the 1960s and 1970s, whilst reinterpreting them in a contemporary style.
The current line-up comprises José Antonio García, Tacho González, Jacinto Ríos and José Ignacio Lapido, who is responsible for the compositions and has left his mark on the album's guitar work. The album was produced by Raúl Bernal in Granada.
The album title is intended as a programmatic statement. Although there is no track by this name, according to the announcement, 'Espejismo nº 9' stands for a career characterised by a constant quest and an understanding of music that transcends fleeting trends. The concert opens the Otoño Cultural 2026 concert series organised by the CajaCanarias Foundation in Tenerife.
