Los Jinetes del Groove were formed in Valle de Guerra in 2021 and perform as a quartet in Las Galletas. The band comprises Diego Jiménez on saxophone, Jonay Mesa on guitar, Pablo González on keyboards and bass, and Pablo Galán on drums.
Their repertoire focuses on original compositions and plenty of on-stage improvisation. Stylistically, the group moves between funk, soul and acid jazz. Their first studio album, “Cañonero”, was released in 2022.
The concert is part of Arona Cultura's October cultural programme. The venue is the Centro Cívico Las Galletas on Rambla Dionisio González in Arona. Admission is free, but places are limited.
