Behind the market is La Tribu Creativa, a creative community based in Tenerife that regularly organises markets featuring arts and crafts, design, handmade goods and local brands. A dedicated area for craftspeople and other creative professionals is being set up at Carrefour Añaza for this purpose.
For visitors, this means a selection of handmade and local products, as well as the chance to get to know the people behind the brands. According to the organisers, the concept is explicitly aimed at raising the profile of small creative businesses from the Canary Islands.
Anyone wishing to take part as an exhibitor must, according to the organisers, be registered as self-employed and be able to provide evidence of their professional activity. Participation is arranged via a registration form, after which applications for the market are selected.
