At Casa Anchieta in La Laguna, Carlos Brunetto, Rebeca Mora, Carlos Costa, Marco Lobo and Vanderson Baobá will come together for an open discussion on Brazilian music. The discussion will focus on its roots, its development and its current form.
The session is entitled "Música brasileña 2026" and forms part of the 23rd Tensamba Festival. The focus is on Brazilian rhythms, musical traditions and creative processes. It also explores cultural encounters and the links between Brazil and the Canary Islands.
The event will take place on Saturday, 3 October 2026, at 11:00. Admission is free, subject to availability. On the same day, Casa Anchieta will also be hosting the final viewing of the exhibitions by Glauce Lima and the Rugendas picture panels, open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.
The Tensamba Festival runs from 4 September to 7 November 2026 in the Canary Islands. A Tensamba Day will also begin at 11:00 on 3 October at the Torre de La Concepción.
