During DiverSaldo, the shops in La Orotava take their special offers and clearance stock out onto the streets. For one day, the town centre is transformed into an open-air shopping area, complemented by food and drink stalls, children's activities and music.
The events take place across several central streets and thoroughfares: Avenida de Canarias, Calle Calvario and the Puente del Escultor Estévez. This allows visitors to experience the event as a stroll through the participating shops and venues, with stops at the activities along the route.
The focus is on local retailers and their special offers. This is complemented by a family-friendly programme of events and live music to accompany a stroll through the market. DiverSaldo is organised by La Orotava Town Council through the Chamber of Commerce.
