The evening brings together two productions from Sardinia. 'Hito' takes the Japanese kanji 'Hito', meaning 'human', as its starting point and explores mutual support and genuine relationships. The choreography focuses on moving together, balancing movements and creating space within a dynamic of trust. This offers a perspective on human nature, caught between the need for support and the pursuit of one's own path.
'Oscure Luminescenze' is conceived as a duet and explores the inner conflict between domination and freedom. The male figure appears as an oppressive, manipulative presence, whilst the woman attempts to free herself from an invisible yet palpable control. Her gestures and movements reveal her still fragile resistance to these constraints.
As the piece unfolds, the dance becomes the setting for an emotional struggle. Ultimately, an impulse of life, chaos and disorder bursts into the scene, breaking the bonds and leading both characters towards new possibilities. The double bill will be performed on 3 and 4 October 2026, at 19:30 on both evenings, at the Teatro Victoria in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.
