Dúo Olé: Clown and music show in Santa Cruz

In Dúo Olé, Paul Morocco and Marcial Heredia take to the stage together as two 'Guitar Locos', one small, one tall. The show combines classic physical comedy with musical virtuosity and juggling. They play Spanish guitars, accompanied by singing and rumba, whilst the instruments spin, tilt and fly through the air. Bursting table tennis balls and cracking eggs are also recurring elements of the performance.

The production was created by Paul Morocco, who began as a street performer in New Orleans in 1983 and developed the show “Olé!” in 1990, which brought him international recognition following appearances at the Edinburgh Festival and Just For Laughs. In “Dúo Olé”, he performs alongside Marcial Heredia. The scenes are set in a comical world where every man is called Carlos and everything happens out of love for María.

The 50-minute performance will be staged in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on two dates as part of the Festival Internacional Clownbaret 2026. On Saturday 3 October 2026, it begins at 19:00 in the car park of the Espacio La Granja at Avenida de Bélgica 7. A further performance will take place on Friday 9 October 2026 at 21:30 in the Plaza del Príncipe de Asturias.
