At the Classical Laguna Experience festival, the Dúo Smetti will perform a chamber concert for violin and cello, featuring classical music from the Canary Islands and Latin America. The programme is aimed at visitors who wish to hear chamber music performed by a small ensemble. Admission is free, subject to availability.
The concert is part of the Classical Laguna Experience festival, which in 2026 will focus on the Canarian and Latin American repertoire. The Canary Islands are presented as a historical bridge between Europe, Africa and the Americas. The festival revives rarely performed works, promotes new compositions and brings together programmes featuring traditional music, chamber music, contemporary music and orchestral music.
Dúo Smetti will present a chamber music programme for violin and cello in the Sala de Casa Anchieta. The programme centres on classical works from the Canary Islands and Latin America. The concert thus ties in with the festival's Atlantic focus and showcases repertoires linked by history, travel and artistic exchange.
The concert begins at 19:30 in La Laguna. Admission is free until the venue is at full capacity.
