The religious celebrations in Las Mercedes begin at 19:00 with Mass at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes on Plaza Chicha Zerolo. This is followed at 20:00 by a procession through the town.
A festival will be taking place in the square from 17:00 onwards. After the procession, the festivities will conclude at 21:00 with a fireworks display and the grand 'verbena'. The Saturday programme is therefore spread across several locations between the square and the church.
