With 'Fado nocturno', José Félix presents a focused recital that has emerged from his in-depth exploration of fado in Lisbon. The singer from Tenerife draws on his careful study of traditional forms and on his experiences in the fado houses of the Portuguese capital, performing alongside local musicians.
The evening features a minimalist line-up: José Félix sings, accompanied solely by Gabriel Hernández on the Spanish guitar. This minimalist format places the focus squarely on the expression of the lyrics and the stories told through Lisbon's songs.
The concert is part of the tenth edition of the Festival de Fado de Canarias and takes place at the Teatro El Sauzal. The performance is suitable for all age groups and lasts 75 minutes. Tickets are available from 9 euros.
