At the Plaza de la Ermita in Machado, there will be a full day's programme of festivities featuring music, dancing and activities for children. The food and drink area will be open all day. Admission is free, and parking is also free.
From 12 noon to 13:30, the 34th Tenerife Brass Band Congress will take place. Taking part are A.M. Santa Cecilia de Tacoronte, A.M.C. José Manuel Cabrera Mejías from Icod de los Vinos and A.C.M. Princesa Yaiza from El Rosario. This will be followed from 13:30 to 14:30 by a performance by the Rebeca García Frías dance group.
There will be a play area for children from 14:00 to 20:00. Show Time World is on the programme from 16:00 to 17:00. This will be followed by a Juan Luis Guerra tribute with the Orquesta Sabrosa from 17:30 to 19:00. The flamenco group Estefanía Luque will perform from 19:00 to 19:30, before Anaé's concert brings the day to a close from 19:30 to 21:00.
The event forms part of the festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Machado, a district of the municipality of El Rosario. Almost all the events during the festivities take place in the Plaza de la Ermita, next to the chapel of Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Machado is about a 15-minute drive from the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
