The farmers' market in Tegueste is a regular market offering freshly harvested seasonal fruit and vegetables, organic produce, artisan bread, ready-made meals, wine, meat, eggs, cheese, honey, flowers, plants and handicrafts. There is also a fish market run by the Punta del Hidalgo Fishermen's Guild. The market is a meeting place for families, neighbours and groups of friends.
At the Mercadillo del Agricultor de Tegueste, local producers sell their goods directly on site. The range includes seasonal fruit and vegetables, local organic produce, artisan bread, ready meals, wine, meat, eggs, cheese and other dairy products, honey, flowers, plants and handmade crafts.
A key feature is the fish market, run by the Punta del Hidalgo Fishermen's Guild. The market thus brings together local agricultural and maritime produce in one place.
The farmers' market takes place every weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 14:00. During this time, it serves not only as a place to shop but also as a meeting point in Tegueste, where neighbours, young people, families and groups of friends come together.
