The event forms part of the ninth edition of the Juegos Máster in Tenerife and is an official sporting activity in the island's programme. The hike takes place in Mount Teide National Park along a designated route called 'Nubes ardientes'. The guided tour will take place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, from 8:00 to 17:00.
According to the organisers, the activity represents an organised, communal and accessible hiking opportunity. It forms part of the sports programme run by the Tenerife Island Council, which utilises various locations and natural areas across the island to promote regular exercise, social interaction and active leisure.
Participation is free of charge. Registration opens on Monday, 12 October 2026, at 8:00 and closes on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, at 14:00. Participation is subject to the 2026 hiking regulations of the Juegos Máster, which are available on the official event website.
